Corfu, Greece
Introduction
The island of Corfu is 20 miles across and 40 miles long with beautiful beaches. This island has been home to many cultures, the French, the Byzantines, the Russina, and the Venetians to name a few and you can see their influences everywhere you look. In 1865 took over Corfu.
To explore this city you have to "Take your time. Slow down." or in Greecian "Siga siga".

Transportation
You can walk from the port to Old Town or take a taxi which will cost 8 to 10 euros.
Sightseeing
A must is the Archieological Museum, the favorite sight of that is the Temple of Artemis. But don't forget about the other musuem on Corfu they all have something interesting to see.
The city of Corfu Town has shopping, dining, cafes and historic sites. This is a very delightful place to see.
There are forts, palaces and churches to see as well.
